The Mirror’s Edge is Crystal Burnett. In 1996, fascinated by the world wide web and the possibilities it presented to put her artistic talent to creative use, Crystal began learning HTML, Adobe PhotoShop and eventually CSS and JavaScript on her own time. She landed her first job in the field of web design with a small but rapidly expanding web solutions company in 1997, working there for two years designing websites and advertisements in varying mediums before the company was dissolved. 

In 1999, Crystal formed The Mirror’s Edge as a freelance side project devoted to graphic and web design. Over the course of the last fourteen years, TME has created ads, logos, websites, powerpoint presentations and more for over forty different companies, including large corporations such as TANDBERG Applications, which at that time ranked #2 in the world for their communications technology (1999-2000). She has since then designed internal interfaces for GEICO and various government SharePoint sites.
